Message from the CEO
To Our Customers:
These days you get a lot of information coming at you from many directions. That’s why having a financial partner you can trust is more important than ever. At HarborOne, we never take the confidence you place in us for granted. We are committed to earning and keeping your trust by serving you and the communities where you live and work to the very best of our ability, every day.
An important part of how we serve you is not only protecting your finances, but also providing the information and education that you need to protect yourself. We have a team of experienced professionals who work every day to understand the latest scams in the market and get that information to you, along with tips on how to keep your personal information safe. We use our HarborSide email newsletter, social media, and our website to keep you up-to-date on what we know and what you need to know. We also have a dedicated Privacy and Security page on our website where you can always find the latest information. If you ever think you’ve been the victim of identity theft or bank fraud visit one of our banking centers or call our contact center right away at 800-244-7592. Keeping your account safe and secure is our top priority.
In 2024, as we have done for every year since 2016, we awarded twenty $5,000 scholarships to outstanding high school seniors from the communities we serve. These exceptional young people are pursuing their degrees at institutions like Boston College, URI, Providence College, Howard University, UMass Amherst, Syracuse University, Harvard College, Brown University, and more. You can learn more about their dreams and ambitions here.
We also celebrated awarding the second James W. Blake Catalyst Award to Brockton Hospital’s School of Nursing (BHSN). The award, named for HarborOne’s community-minded retired CEO James Blake, recognizes transformative programs that serve as a catalyst for opportunity and change. This year’s $25,000 award will support the School of Nursing's JUMPSTART initiative, an innovative workforce development program aimed at assisting students from gateway cities to pursue careers in nursing.
Finally, HarborOne was honored to be named Best Bank in the Providence Journal’s Community’s Choice Awards for the second year in a row. We are grateful to the customers who took the time to vote for us. We understand what your money represents—it’s your hard work, your security, your future, and it is a privilege that you entrust us with it. Trust matters to us, because we know it matters to you.
Warmest regards,
Joseph F. Casey
President and Chief Executive Officer
